Terms & Conditions
These terms explain the simple agreement between you and KaiZenly+ when you install and use the app. They are written in plain English on purpose — there is nothing hidden here.
1. Accepting these terms
By installing or using KaiZenly+, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. KaiZenly+ is made by one solo student developer based in Pakistan, not a company.
2. Your licence to use the app
KaiZenly+ is proprietary, closed-source software — the source code is private and all rights are reserved. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own self-improvement. You may not copy, sell, rent, decompile, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app or any part of it.
3. The app is provided “as is”
KaiZenly+ is offered free and as is, without warranties of any kind. While it is built carefully, it cannot be guaranteed to be error-free or available at all times. To the maximum extent allowed by law, the developer is not liable for any loss of data, loss of profit, or other damages arising from your use of the app.
4. Your data and backups are your responsibility
Your data lives on your device in an encrypted database, and your backups are encrypted too. A backup is unlocked only by a password you choose — that password is never stored and cannot be recovered by the app. If you lose it, your backup cannot be opened by anyone, including the developer. Please keep your backup password somewhere safe.
5. Permissions and focus features
Some features — mainly Focus / Zen Shield — need device permissions to work. The app does not have “zero permissions”; each permission it asks for is explained line-by-line on the Permissions page. You are in control of which features you enable.
6. Not medical or professional advice
KaiZenly+ is a focus and habit tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, therapy, or mental-health treatment. If you need professional help, please reach out to a qualified professional.
7. Price and future features
KaiZenly+ is fully free today (version 1.0.0) with every feature included. If server, backend, or AI features are ever added in the future, some of those may become paid — but nothing is paid today, and any change would be announced first.
8. Age requirement
KaiZenly+ is a general self-improvement tool. It is not directed at children under 13 years of age. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, or that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf if you are younger than the age of majority in your jurisdiction. Because the developer collects no personal data, no special handling of minors' data is required beyond this confirmation.
9. Export compliance
You agree to comply with all applicable export and re-export laws and regulations. You may not download or use KaiZenly+ in violation of any applicable export restrictions, embargoes, or sanctions.
10. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, where the developer is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the app shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the parties agree to resolve the dispute through the courts of Pakistan, unless applicable local law requires otherwise in your jurisdiction.
11. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
12. Entire agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding KaiZenly+. They supersede any prior agreements, understandings, or representations relating to the app.
13. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as the app evolves. The "last updated" date below always shows the current version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be noted on the About page.
